About our Preschool

Studebaker Preschool is an integrated program that provides early intervention opportunities to both typical students and students with disabilities. Students may attend one of two sessions (AM: 9:15-11:55 or PM: 1:05-3:45). Three-year-olds typically attend in the morning, whereas four-year-olds attend in the afternoon. Children who are five years old on or before August 1 must enroll in kindergarten.

We use The Creative Curriculum and Amplify CKLA for instruction. Both resources meet state requirements for the Science of Reading, a research-based approach that emphasizes phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. These resources also feature exploration and discovery as a way of learning, enabling children to develop confidence, creativity, and lifelong critical-thinking skills.

Welcome to Studebaker Preschool!

I have the honor and privilege of serving as your principal. I have been fortunate to have served Huber Heights City Schools in various capacities since 2004.

Studebaker has knowledgeable, caring and energetic staff members who are committed to providing the highest quality education for your children. We don’t take your decision to entrust them with us lightly. We are a student-centered building that strives to promote learning in a safe, fun, and nurturing environment. Our primary goal is to give students the proper academic foundation they need to be adequately prepared for the next steps of the academic journey.

We are excited to spend this school year in partnership with you, our amazing parents/guardians and community. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at 937-237-6345.

Respectfully,

Lesha J. Wallace, Ph.D.
